Celebration is a culture at WIPL as we believe in being called a gathering of happy people. Last week was a very special one because of Diwali festival and it was full of fun and frolic for WIPL family as well.
In our own small way, we organized a Diwali event on 10thof November, which we celebrated in a very traditional way. The day initiated with office decoration with mesmerizing colors of Rangoli, perfume of flowers and sparkle of lights. It was heartening to see all employees dressed in traditional attires, brimming with happiness and preparing themselves for the Diwali Art and Craft competition that lay ahead during the day.
The Art and Craft competition was the best part of the whole event as our people surprised us with some amazing creative decoration pieces, which they prepared on their own. In an industry like ours, it is a very rare scene. After the competition, the CEO personally addressed all the employees, distributed gifts to the most creative team in the Art and craft competition, best dressed employees and presented Diwali souvenirs to all employees.
The day ended on a happy and a blissful note. The feeling worth sharing is one that of unity, harmony and affection that all employees feel for each other. Throughout the day, every task was performed in a very synchronized and united way. It was not less than a family get together for all the WIPLians and this is what we all love about WIPL.
